Man, 2020 was crazy, wasn't it?
But, now it's 2021!
And it's the final Sneak-Peek Week post!
So.........
You're probably wondering what this post is about.
Well, this last post is going to be my characters from Team 14, Woods, and The Jedi Story getting together to celebrate the New Year.
OUR time.
They do have a New Year, but at crazy times.
And no, Besk, I don't think you J.G.ers have a New Year.
SO.
All three squads are getting together in a five-room house that I'M providing. Sorry, they GOT together.
Krever forgot to tell me that they were ACTUALLY going to do it. When I gave them the house and movies no one was sure if it was actually going to happen.
BUT IT DID. AND THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED. I AM THANKFUL TO BE ALIVE TO TELL YOU THE STORY.
ANYWAYS.
HERE WE GO.
"No, we are NOT going to watch Clone Wars again!" Dari flopped back against the couch with a huff and glared at Cordic. "We've watched that for three years in a row!"
"We haven't seen the movie yet." Cordic held up the disk case. "Kal put it in here; we might as well watch it."
"No." Winera grabbed the case and threw it out the window. "We're watching The Greatest Showman."
"Haha, we don't have the G.S." Norma sat by the window and sharpened her knife. "How about we go hunting."
"Winni, it's gonna snow tonight." Cordic stared sadly at the window.
"It's a movie. And don't call me 'Winni'." Winera glared at him.
"How 'bout this one?" Regga held up a movie with a dog and wolf on the cover. "Call of the Wild. I don't think we've ever seen that one before."
"I've read the book." Alet glared at the movie. "I don't like it."
Regga shrugged and put it down. Krever sighed. "I thought we were going to do a Lord of the Rings marathon."
"That was before Dophie came." Sikito was doing internet searches about the Diseny princess movies. When he and Dophie met, they bonded and now he was basically acting like her big brother.
"I don't mind." Dophie stood next to him. "I've seen that type movie before."
"This one." Reyjin dropped Big Hero 6 on the couch. "No questions." She started putting it into the DVD player.
Lerman stood up. "I'm going to bed. See ya."
"But it's not next year yet." Larkin reached up and grabbed his shirt. "You've got to stay."
"Me and Nerch are going to play checkers upstairs. Anyone else want to come?"
Kloie walked in and sat down next to Fernog and opened the book she was reading. "That's not exactly going to bed."
Vura stood up. "I'll come."
"Ah, come on guys, how is checkers better than watching a marshmallow learn how to fly?" Reyjin picked up the remote and started skipping previews. She looked pointedly at the others.
Just then Kierran and Triton came in from the kitchen with bowls of popcorn. Triton looked at the TV and reached for the remote.
"How to Train your Dragon."
Reyjin snatched the remote back and held it tight. "No." She flicked a piece of popcorn at him.
Kierran laughed. "Just settle down, alright?"
"Let's just watch the movie." Sierve took the remote from Reyjin and hit play. The group all settled down on the floor or couches. Kloie stayed on the floor with the wolves, still reading.
About fifteen minutes later....
Reyjin looked over at Winera. "Zero."
Winera answered by pelting her with popcorn.
Sikito stayed near the doorway, eyes glued to the computer. Dophie sat next to him, sometimes looking at the screen, sometimes at the movie.
Near the end, Tranea grabbed a movie and threw it at Reyjin, who was sitting nearest to the DVD player. "This one's next."
Besk looked over her shoulder at it. "Incredibles 2? Shouldn't we watch the first one first?"
"No." Tranea shoved a handful of popcorn into her mouth. "I'm trying to not cry."
"Hey, what's D+?" Sikito looked up. "And do we have Inside Out?"
Dophie scanned the pile of DVDs. "Yeah, we have Inside Out. I've been wanting to watch that one."
"'credies 2 first." Sierve stole a piece of popcorn from his sister.
"''credies'? Is that seriously what you call it?'' Kloie looked up.
"Doesn't matter." Tranea shoved Reyjin aside and put the disk into the drive. "We're watching it."
"Wait..." Sikito narrowed his eyes. "Is this the one with the raccoon and the hypnosis stuff?"
"Yeah? So?" Norma threw her knife at the wall. "More than half of us here are warriors."
After a little while...
"No, it's better." Krever shot her a look that said he would restrain her if she tried to leave.
An hour later found Sikito and Reyjin wrestling over whether or not to watch Inside Out or Lego Batman.
Dophie walked over and calmly put Inside Out into the drive. "That simple."
Reyjin glared at her, but after it started fell silent.
Winera laughed silently at how her sister seemed to adore this movie more than any of the others.
When Anger first appeared and did his fire-thing, she nudged Reyjin.
"That's you," she said.
Reyjin blinked at the flaming red angry thing. "It's really not."
A few minutes later, Regga looked over at Triton. "Do we have broccoli pizza?"
Triton blinked.
"Yeaaaaah. No." Kierran patted her shoulder.
When the movie finished, Norma stood up. "How about the ninja movie?"
"The ninja movie?" Krever raised an eyebrow.
"Oh... you mean this one?" Seirsha had been pawing around the stack of disks. She held up the Lego Ninjago movie.
"That one." Norma sat down again.
Seirsha grinned. "Cool, 'cause I wanted to do this one, too!"
Fifteen minutes later....
"Me." Dari leaned back and pretended to fall asleep.
It was Besk's turn to pelt her with popcorn.
After the movie, the group started arguing about the next movie.
"Hey... am I the only one who notices that it's going to be New Years in about 10 minutes, hence we don't have time for another movie?'' Alet causally put a piece of popcorn in her mouth.
The entire group turned to look at the clock. It was true.
"So.... youtube?" Zenla ventured.
I had to stop the recounting here, because this was where I came in and it became life-threatening.
SO YEAH.
ANYWAYS.
I hope you all enjoyed these little sneak-peeks at some of my other stories, even if it WAS NOT in one week.
I apologize for that.
SO PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU THOUGHT!
AND ASK ME QUESTIONS ABOUT MYSELF AND OTHER STORIES!
I WILL TRY AT THE END OF JANUARY TO DO A POST TO ANSWER THEM ALL.
