March Muchness

March Muchness is a fun celebration of all things Wonderland related. 11 other bloggers and I are hosting this Alice in Wonderland themed blog tag.

We each came up with a Wonderland-inspired question which you can take and answer on your blog as well as enjoy our answers!

My answers will be found here at My Jedi Story, and you will find everyone else's below:

And now for the questions!

List six impossible things you'd love to do:
I don't know if I have six, though. Let's try...
1. Have a pet sloth. If you know me, you know I love sloths. ðŸ¦¥ðŸ¦¥ðŸ¦¥
2. Go into the Star Wars world for a bit. Have a go at Darth Vader. Probably be the best and the last thing I ever do.
3. Get an ability to read characters out of their story AND be able to put them back in it. You know, like in Inkheart.
4. Own a phoenix. I love phoenixes with the entirety of my heart. Fawkes from Harry Potter... Phoenix squadron from Star Wars Rebels... you get the point. GET ME A PHOENIX.
5. Be able to actually meet my characters in real life and get the story from their point of view. I mean, how cool would that be???
6. Became a chess master. This last one might not be AS impossible as the others, since I could become a master someday if I played hard enough, but it just doesn't seem practical anymore with what I want to do with my life. I'll always hold it as a dream, though.

What is a topic that grew curiouser and curiouser the more you studied/researched it?
Uh.
I might just say history and leave it at that. XD

If you invite three fictional characters to a tea party, who would they be?
Depends on what kind of tea party we're talking about. If any three of my characters decided to have a tea party, only one word would describe the result: chaos. Doesn't help that most of my stories revolve around rebels of some sort. If I could combine characters from two stories, the least chaotic combination would be Dophie and Kloe from Team 14 and Alet from Woods. Anyone else would argue about who got all the sugar and would probably end up blowing up the room.

Which Wonderland character do you feel you’re the most like?
I would probably be Alice. Just go with the flow and stay on the outskirts when possible.

If you could drink a magic potion that changed one thing about you, what would it be?
If physical, then I want to be about two inches taller. Emotional, I want to be readier the take a bigger first step than I usually do.

If you were to make an enemy of Father Time, what time in the day would you choose to repeat?
If I repeat it, would I feel the same every time? Because I'll keeping eating breakfast over and over - unless I start getting full of course.

If you fell down a rabbit hole, what would the land you pop into look like?
One of my favorite thing to put into my books is portals. I love making portals that shoot you all over the place. In Team 14, I gave them a whole galaxy so that I could hop around different planets! That being said, I really have no idea what my Wonderland would look like. Probably something mountainous and foresty and perpetually autumn... Basically the setting from Woods

If you could have the body of one type of creature and the head of another, what would that combination be and why?
I'm going griffin style, because the only things I like better than phoenixes are griffins. Let's say an eagle's head, because I want eyes like that and a killer beak. For the body, I'm going with a cheetah, because

Have you read or written anything stylistically close to Alice in Wonderland? Tell us about it.
Um, I think the closest I can think of is Wizard of Oz. It has the same going to a different, crazy, fantastical world. I don't think I've written anything like that.

How IS a raven like a writing desk?
Erm... they both can be black.

If you could either be as tall as a tree or as small as a mouse for an hour, which would you choose and what would you do?
I would choose to be as small as a mouse, find food and a nice hiding place, and have a little feast and nap for an hour.

If you could give your younger or future self one piece of Very Good Advice, what would it be?
Simple: Don't be me. I can't say that? Fine. Don't watch Youtube unless it's chess videos with your dad. I don't really, but I used to, and its ADDICTING, man. NO YOUTUBE. WE DON'T TALK ABOUT YOUTUBE.

Looks like that's everything, y'all. Don't forget to check out everyone else who's participating in this tag's blogs!
Have a Wonderful day!

  1. Yaaay! Thank you so very much for volunteering to host this with me. This is such fun! And EEP. I absolutely loved all your answers. Having the Inkheart ability would be AH-MAY-ZING. AND meeting our own characters??? YASSS. Dream come true! (Except I think all my characters would just be angry at me so...maybe not the best plan meeting them face-to-face now that I think of it...)

Being able to eat breakfast over and over also sounds like an EXCELLENT plan. XD Who needs second breakfast when you can have INFINITE breakfast??

This was so much fun! Thank you again for being a host! :D

  2. Hi Kal!

Wow I didn't know you liked chess. But then again, I barely know anything about you. Do you use Chess.com?

I would say it's a matter of practicing, because that way your vision gets better, and you can spot potential attacks and prepare for them.
