August Doings

Hello, everybodyyyyyy!

Welcome back.

To chaos.

I promise a bit more chaos will be happening soon.

I plan to start elaborating on my stories a bit more in full sooner rather than later, and when that happens...

Yeah.

Anyways, I'm sure you're all probably not dying to hear what was happening in August.

Well, I can explain most of the second half of August in one word:

S
C
H
O
O
L

still trying to decide how i feel about this...

But yes, school started this month.

and somehow i've survived two years of high school?????

It is highly doubtful I will survive a third year.

But we shall see what happens.

ALSO IN AUGUST I turned 16, both my older sisters went off to college woohoo my own room AND waaaaa my own room :'( and I kind of got a job.

BUUUUUT I want to focus on some other stuffs than that currently.

HIKING

This is probably going to be one of my favorite categories, and will have lots of cool pictures. I'm not gonna say a whole lot about the actual hike, just the distance, where the trail was, and pIcTuReS!!!!

Where? Stone Mountain

How long? ~1.5 miles, round trip

Pictures ????????????? voila:

READING

One of the perks about having a birthday is you get lots of new books. I visited three used bookstores and loved all of 'em. I got 12 new books, I think? Some of which I have read in the past, and the others are still lying on the shelves, waiting for me to read them and keeping me awake at night with their sobs.

The new books I've read this month consist of:

Dragonsinger by Anne Mcaffrey

rated 5 stars
Padawan by Kiersten White

rated 4.5 stars

note: 4.5 stars means i really liked the story, just not enough to be my most favorite ever
Raising Dragons Graphic Novel by Bryan Davis

rated 4.5 stars

Dare by Tricia Mingerink

rated 5 stars

The Secret Adversary
by Agatha Christie

rated 4 stars

So, that was life last month. September is already looking quite a bit different, considering I am now technically the oldest sister in the house, and the whole month will have a strange phenomenon called high school happening the entire time...

BUT SOME COOL STUFFS HAPPENING THIS MONTH WILL BE

--college visit #1: North Greenville University
--getting my first mandolin
--first issue of the student run newspaper I am writing for coming out

ANYWAYS I'M NOT GONNA SAY ANYTHING ELSE, thanks y'all for reading this far, tune in next week for a little something I wrote that some of my friends have been asking for even though its not New Years hinty hinty ;)

bye
